After having had the Fire department assist me in my
zone on various types of calls of assistance, I began to
develope an interest in Firefighting, I also wanted to
give back something to a group of volunteers that always
give of themselves so easily and without fore-thought.
I soon joined the Waldens Creek Volunteer Fire
Department  In August 28, 1998
( to the worry of my LadyJ ).. So after just a
little over one year on the department, and
nine months out of fire school to become a
State of Tennessee certified Firefighter, I still
have a great deal to learn, but then again i
don't think that you ever learn it all.
