"Lean on me"

Hi there, I am Turhan "Randy" Thomas. Known
mostly as Randy to my friends and the people with
whom I work and deal with on a daily basis.
I live in the town of Sevierville, that is located within the
boundaries of Sevier County Tennessee, which is basically
the gateway to the smoky mountains from interstate 40
on the Tennessee side. The county has a multitude of
tourist attractions including Dollywood and various
other attractions and restaurants. Which is a good
way to live when you have as many interests
as I have. From my serious side, my work side,
all the way to my "let's do something different side...
this county definitely has most of them covered.

I have lived here most of my life and have always
called this area home, I was born in Brooklyn,
New York and was moved here while I was a young boy.
While growing up I lived in Newport, Tennessee at our
family home and went to school there but we had a farm
in Sevierville so...on the weekends and times while
school was not in session, I preferred to spend my
time on it.

I graduated Cocke County High school in 1983 and
attended Walter State College at the main campus
in Morristown Tn. majoring in Criminal Justice.
I almost drove myself nuts with a 24 credit hour class
load, 2 part-time jobs and 1 full time job. Well March 4th
of 1985 my high school flame and I "or so I thought at first"
had a son "Randy II", so I then left college to handle
what I thought where my responsibilities and become a
working father.  I had loved her and tried to work it things
out, anyway on July 30, 1986 I married her. I would later
find out what a mistake that was too late.
She liked to run-around even after we got married.

We had a Daughter "Tabatha" on April 3, 1987 and
things worked for a while. I started working for
Family Inns security force in April of 1989 and was
placed on the reserve officer roster at Sevier County
Sheriff's Department,  things were looking up.....

Well before long the she was back to her old ways
{while I was working she was playing} but
I Love my children so, I stayed. Things got worse
at home and on Oct. 16,1996 I moved out. She and
I divorced March of 1998. She stills likes to play stupid
childish games over the getting back together, and the
children. I fought for and received, visitation rights
to both of the kids (MY kids, I raised them BOTH from
birth and no one will ever change that I love them & they
love me), see my kids every weekend and some holidays
(and yes I would like to have them all of the time.)
and pay my child support as any man should.

It took me afew months to get back on my feet again,
with alot of help from some wonderful friends that stood by
me, for alot of years and through alot of crap..Only
one more bad failed relationship before I wised up and kept
the perfect woman that had won my heart ...My Lady J.
While she and I may have our differences, she puts up
with me anyways, and no man could ask to be taken
better care of than she does me.
The world seems a great place again.

So I now get to spend some of my time, doing the things I
always wanted to do and having someone to be there
to support me, even when she does not agree.

I joined the Walden's Creek Volunteer Fire Department
in August of 1998, and went to The State of Tennessee
Fire Fighters School in December 1998 to become a
state certified Fire Fighter.

Below I have listed some of my interests, likes, photos,
and abit about me and my life. The wonderful woman
in my life has designed this site and alot of the custom
graphics, backgrounds and artwork that you see on here.

pleasurable life!
